EU Sales & Training Manager
Job Responsibilities
Sales & Business Analysis

  • Oversee and drive sales team to achieve monthly targets in UK, develop sales, gain rank in stores, animate sales, monitor results
  • Analyze retail sales by territory, by door, weekly, monthly and quarterly; inform, celebrate and coach team based on analysis
  • Participate in building annual retail projections by door.  Partner with GM EU & ME
  • Provide field data: trend, ranking, MS
  • Collaborate in determining territory breakdown and store responsibility for each team member
  • Create and monitor team productivity report/ sales tracker and set up actions plans accordingly


  • Lead the training in coordination with US Director EDU, develop  training calendar, programs and  modify US formats, conduct  full training sessions with team and in stores.  Areas of focus include brand and product knowledge, selling skills, artistry technique, event execution and business analysis.

Team Training

  • Partner with  US Director EDU to ensure proper timing of delivery of tools and assets for EDU and Events, build timelines  production and distribution of assets
  • Ensure field execution of product education and seasonal education programs, category sales opportunities and field development programs.
  • Elevate team selling & artistry skills with ongoing coaching
  • Provide team with training tools and format-work closely with US Director, EDU
  • Prepare and conduct team coaching at EU &ME annual sales meeting ( 2015)
  • Conduct training in EU countries for new stores or new team members, when instructed by GM according to business territory expansion
Team Management
Field Management of UK team

  • Field visits, review of performances on weekly basis, monthly sell out review, analysis of achievements
  • Communicate with team members daily
  • Team coaching on relationships building
  • Create quarterly action plans, in coordination with team  members, and monitor, assess and coach for success during quarter
  • Manage and conduct recruitment, positions replacement  with GM validation
  • Create a Profile database by sourcing profiles
  • Conduct bi-annual and  annual performance reviews in partnership with GM
  • Field Sales Support
  • Manage seasonal ordering and distribution of EDU gratis, and event toas/gwps for field team
    Manage shipping of event and education materials seasonally; track gratis, event assets/gwps
    Coordinate testers replenishment in stores with team
    Supervise and coordinate Team calendars to achieve education priorities, focus door coverage; ensure brand presence is implemented consistently and cohesively throughout all focus stores.
    Coordinate team rotas, holidays ( upon GM EU approval)
    Provide weekly and monthly analysis of retail sell through performance, compile data weekly and send to GM
    Create event tracker and collect Event results and track event ROI quarter

  • Report to GM EU&ME  daily on sales achieved/ activity, stock  and provide data requested by manager,

in due time-respect deadlines

  • Communicate field successes, challenges and needs at the corporate level.
  • Partner and collaborate to define brand initiatives and opportunities, then communicate and drive with the field
  • Attend all conference calls, meetings set up by manager, and be on time
  • Respect HG procedures and guidelines
  • Be a brand Ambassador by adhering to HG guidelines, in line with HG image and DNA
  • Respect the brand confidentiality
Job Requirements

  • Five or more years industry experience
  • Superior training and motivational abilities
  • Analysis of sales results, sales forecasts and promotional impact
  • Excellent makeup artistry skills
  • Eye for merchandising
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Exhibit effective communication skills with customers, peers and management
  • Experience in working with MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel and work weekends

Business Manager

Hourglass Cosmetics currently seeking dynamic, self-motivated individual to continue to develop business at prestige retailer located in London.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-       Achieve sales goals while delivering the highest levels of client service
-       Present and sell merchandise in a professional manner through expert makeup applications
-       Develop client base with thorough and consistent follow up protocols
-       Manage all counter systems: daily sales analysis, assist with product orders, manage tester replacement and product rtv on a monthly basis
-       Submit monthly counter schedule and manage 30-hour resident makeup artist
-       Partner with Account Executive to plan seasonal strategies, including store events
-       Act as brand ambassador, developing relationships within cosmetic department and entire store

Qualifications and Requirements:
-       Experience in retail cosmetics management
-       Excellent skills as a makeup artist and sales person
-       Exhibit effective communication skills with clients, peers and management
-       Analysis of sales results, forecasts and promotional planning
-       Ability to use a computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
-       Availability to work weekends is required
-       Previous clientele a plus

Packaging Manager

Job Description:

  • Oversee new product launches with a focus on packaging
  • Work closely with packaging suppliers to help develop new packaging options
  • Lead and attend briefing sessions with cross-functional team members on product packaging reviews, timelines and launch plans
  • Work closely with Regulatory team to ensure compliance of packaging claims for existing and emerging new markets
  • Collaborate with Quality Control team to establish standards for Quality Assurance
  • Oversee and review technical specs to develop both stock and custom packaging
  • Request, follow-up and distribute packaging samples in a timely manner
  • Oversee packaging artwork process in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross functional teams
  • Work closely with Product Development Manager to develop package development calendar
  • Conducts consumer and competitive research as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned


  • Proven cosmetics packing development experience from concept to launch
  • Familiarity with domestic and international regulatory guidelines
  • Strong understanding and familiarity with the luxury beauty category
  • Must have a college degree with at least 5+ years of work experience or equivalent experience
  • Effective negotiation experience with contract manufactures
  • Proven track record of ownership and driving results
  • Experience in working in a fast paced, collaborative, team oriented environment is a must
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
