Account Manager

Luxury cosmetics brand is currently seeking dynamic, self-motivated individual to continue to develop business at prestige retailer located in York, UK – John Lewis.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-       Achieve sales goals while delivering the highest levels of client service
-       Present and sell merchandise in a professional manner through expert makeup applications
-       Develop client base with thorough and consistent follow up protocols
-       Manage all counter systems: daily sales analysis, assist with product orders, manage tester replacement and product rtv on a monthly basis
-       Submit monthly counter schedule and manage 30-hour resident makeup artist
-       Partner with Account Executive to plan seasonal strategies, including store events
-       Act as brand ambassador, developing relationships within cosmetic department and entire store

Qualifications and Requirements:
-       Experience in retail cosmetics management
-       Excellent skills as a makeup artist and sales person

Senior Director of Sales
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and supports retail activity and sales analysis across distribution points to ultimately increase brand awareness and build sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Direct management of key personnel and accountability for sales goals within assigned domestic accounts
  • Create implement and track strategies to drive the business at each point of sale
  • Ensures forecast accuracy and inventory level targets are met
  • Maintain high level of market awareness and strong internal and distributor networks
  • Initiate conference calls with store teams to review daily sales figures, business opportunities, training updates and any open issues

Packaging Manager

Job Description:

  • Oversee new product launches with a focus on packaging
  • Work closely with packaging suppliers to help develop new packaging options
  • Lead and attend briefing sessions with cross-functional team members on product packaging reviews, timelines and launch plans
  • Work closely with Regulatory team to ensure compliance of packaging claims for existing and emerging new markets
  • Collaborate with Quality Control team to establish standards for Quality Assurance
  • Oversee and review technical specs to develop both stock and custom packaging

Marketing Manager

Job Description:

  • Drive customer growth through strategic marketing initiatives and product launches that uphold brand values and help brand achieve marketshare.

Art Director

Job Requirements:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing team as a key strategic partner. Understand their business objectives and help them to drive the business forward by proactively contributing strategic and creative ideas.
  • Set direction and manage design team from concept through project completion of all projects including packaging, retail display, special promotions, emails, banners, presentations, etc.
  • Understand the company goals. Develop and innovate strategic direction on methods to improve the overall user experience and visual presentations of the brand at all customer touch points.
  • Adhere and meet all deadlines set for each project as determined by weekly and master productions calendars.
  • Build and maintain relationships with photographers, agencies, vendors, design and cross-functional teams.

Job Qualifications:

Director of Sales – Asia
Position is based in Hong Kong

Position Summary:
Director of Sales, Asia is responsible for managing and developing Hourglass sales activities in Asia.

Job Responsibilities:

Director of Sales, Asia is responsible for business development of retail sales and net shipments goals, developing, presenting and executing marketing and merchandising plans, development of budgets and P&L, staff management, education and recruitment, inventory, management press events and PR distribution training tools.

The job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Manage all business plans for Asian distribution (Sephora Asia/Asia retailers and others): planning, inventory, P&L, identifying new business to increase distribution and meet sales goals.
  • Research the possibility of new distribution in Asia by analyzing market potential; estimating volume and profit potential, and preparing sales forecasts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to successfully launch and grow sales, especially related to existing markets.
  • Maintain close relationships with key customers by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs and resolving problems. Implementing marketing calendars for each market.
  • Build and manage field sales team, which includes: hiring, training sales coordinators within budget.
  • Develop educational materials and training modules along with educating retail staff.
  • Act as brand ambassador in Asia.
  • Liaise with US Team on product development processes, requirement for Asia market, weekly conference calls and updates; develop marketing tools to support growth.
